OGTAP is rebranding with a new name, APTUS, to reflect the evolution of both the programme and the entire industry

OGTAP is a leading Energy Apprenticeship Programme which values diversity at the forefront of the Scheme. It requires no prior experience and encourages applicants from all backgrounds. This is vital to OGTAP as it guarantees a diverse workforce for the future while maintaining its fair application process.

Our mission is to create a working environment which: Is varied and inclusive by welcoming all genders and ethnic groups to support the energy industry. Has an increasing knowledge and acceptance of different cultures. Allows for a broader, more diverse approach to problem solving brining new and different ideas. Enables everyone to bring their whole selves, thus increasing the resilience of the energy industry.

Coming together, with a diverse and inclusive workforce, the OGTAP apprentices can experience and demonstrate real teamworking. They will be able to recognise and enjoy the diversity and unique nature of their colleagues and realise the advantages this has on the working environment now and into the future.
